A member of support staff at Mulberry Academy in St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex, has pleaded guilty to sex offences.
25-year-old Logan Bailley admitted four counts of engaging in non-penetrative sexual activity with a child, engaging in sexual communication with a child, and inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity.
At the time of his offending, Bailley worked at the school.
A mother contacted Sussex Police on 16 September after finding sexual messages on her teenage daughter’s phone. Baily pleaded guilty to all charges at a hearing at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 18 September and was released on court bail to be sentenced on 27 November.
Bailly previously worked at Hollington Primary School in St Leonards and held a position at West St Leonards Primary School.
Detective Inspector Mors Lambert said: “Sussex Police and our partners responded swiftly as soon as these allegations came to light, bringing about a rapid conviction and ensuring Logan Bailley could no longer work in a position with access to children.
“I would like to thank the victim and her family in this matter, who have shown great courage to ensure no one else could be harmed.
“While there is currently no evidence to suggest any other children have been affected, given Bailley’s history of professional roles in positions of trust and with access to children, enquiries are ongoing alongside our partners to identify any other potential victims.”
